How to Measure Your Foot and Pick the Right Slipper:

1. Grab two pieces of paper (A4 or letter size should work unless your feet are quite large).

2. Put on the type of socks you plan to wear with your new slippers (if you don’t plan to wear socks, that’s fine!).

3. Take turns standing directly on top of the paper with each foot and use a pencil to trace your feet. To ensure an accurate measurement, make sure your weight is centered directly over your foot. 

4. Make a mark at the tip of your longest toe and the base of your heel.

5. Draw a line connecting both marks and measure it. The longest measurement between your two feet is your Japanese shoe size! If you have wide feet, consider sizing up.

6. Compare your size to the chart on the product listing. Purchase the size that is closest to your Japanese size but not under (the worst thing is your foot overhanging the footbed).

Room Shoes are designed for maximum comfort and are very forgiving when it comes to sizing, but it is important that your foot is not larger than the footbed. We provide a US conversion above, but please note that you may fall between sizes. To ensure a perfect fit, put on the type of socks you plan to wear with your room shoes and mark your longest toe and furthest part of your heel on a piece of paper. Measure the distance between the points and compare it to the Japanese sizes provided. Choose the size that is closest to this measurement without going over (i.e., if you measure 25.5cm purchase a size L). If you have particularly wide feet, consider sizing up one size.

Upper: 100% Cotton, Core: EVA/Urethane, Sole: Faux suede (60% Nylon, 40% Polyurethane). These shoes feature a soft sole and are intended to only be worn indoors. Please do not wear them outdoors or on cement. These house shoes are machine washable. Discoloration is possible, so please wash separately. Wash with a neutral detergent and do not use chlorine bleach. After washing, shape and dry in the shade.
